Sondra White

Sondra was born June 24th, 1956 to two proud parents: Herbert White and Angelique “Vernell” Washington White in Brooklyn, New York. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, her brothers: Herbert White, Jr., Gregory White, Curtis White and Andre White; and her sisters: Parthenia White and Sharon White. Sondra was not affiliated with any church, but gave her life to the Almighty without any hesitation.

Sondra attended John Jay High School, and in 1971, met her first love, Stevenson Washington. Together, they had two handsome children: Stevenson White and Duan White.  Later in life, Sondra met George Crowder, and together they had the youngest of her sons, Michael White.

Sondra was known for her energetic life, straight forward attitude, and always standing her ground.  She had a love for life that was only matched by the love of her children and her family.

Sondra passed, but it's not for us to mourn her, but to always love, cherish and remember her.  Sondra left to carry on her loving memory, her three sons; Stevenson White of Los Angeles, California, Duan White (Crystal White) of East Orange, New Jersey and Michael White (LaTifah McClellan) of Brooklyn, New York.  Sondra was also blessed with beautiful grandchildren: Domonique Sade White, Sade Domonique White, Briahana Johnson, Dauan C. White, Jr., Isaiah M. White, Ishmel D. White, Miracle White, Brooklyn O. White, and LeeShawn A. White; two beautiful great- grandchildren: Annalise Colter and Kaliyah Harris; four loving siblings: Bessie Washington of Texas, Linda White of New York, Karen White of Ohio and Willie White of New York; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews from New York, Ohio and Texas, as well as other loving family members and friends in New York, South Carolina, Maryland and Texas.
