Robert Earl Andrews, Jr. was born on March 26, 1956 to (the late) Fannie Bell Andrews Toussaint and Robert Earl Andrews, Sr.
Robert was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York’s Red Hook Projects, graduating from Franklin K. Lane High School, and continuing his education at a community college.
Robert was an avid world traveler, making his home in California for a while, but he always came back home to Brooklyn.
Robert was a member of a motorcycle organization which was his passion until he had a serious accident. Once he gave up his bike, he started his career with National Grid where he remained for 30 plus years.
Robert loved his Western movies and the old-time T.V. shows. He wasn’t into sports like his mother who loved basketball – The Knicks being her favorite team.
On Friday, July l6, 2021, Robert Earl Andrews, Jr. quietly slipped into eternity, and went on to join the ancestral ranks of his loved ones and friends. He leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter Shatesha Andrews Cooper (and her husband Mel Cooper); his sons: Curtis Andrews and Master Jameek Stewart; his five sisters: Yolanda Saylor (and her husband Raymond Saylor), Margaret Andrews, Angelina Andrews, Veronica Walker (and her husband Allen Walker) and his youngest sister Aurelian Andrews; his aunt Elaine Adams (and her husband Michael Adams); his grandchildren: Samija, Dymeir, Laniya, Alex R. Andrews, Geovana, Travis, Aveyona and Eli; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Mertha and Donna, his home-care attendants.
