To know Pauline was to know a woman who truly knew how to live. She was stylish, witty, social, full of personality, and always ready for a good laugh. Pauline enjoyed being around people, loved to party, and believed in enjoying life to the fullest. And anyone who really knew Pauline knew one thing for certain - she had NO FILTER! Pauline told it exactly like it was. You never had to wonder what she was thinking because, chances are, she was going to tell you! Her quick wit, honesty, and unforgettable personality brought countless laughs and created memories her family and friends will treasure forever. Pauline also had an incredible sense of style. A talented seamstress, she made many of her own clothes and wore them beautifully and proudly. Her love for fashion never faded. Even well into her later years, Pauline continued to dress with the same style, confidence, and flair that had always been a part of who she was. At 97 years young, she was still sporting her fashions and looking good doing it. Pauline experienced tremendous loss during her long lifetime. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Katherine Boone, and her grandchildren, Kenneth Boone and Shevon Jones. Their memories remained forever a part of her heart. Pauline leaves to cherish her loving memory her great-grandchildren, Mohogany Fly and Shawn Pearson; her beloved brother, Grafton Bruce Peguese; her nieces, Melody Peguese and Crystal Peguese Armstrong; her great-nieces, Elethia Jenkins, Eshauna Jenkins-Millington, Shakita Waller, and Tracey (Daniel) Clavel; her beloved godsons, Kevin (Teresa) Hinton, Derrick Deshong, and Kyle Nickens; and her lifelong friend, Henrietta “Hank” McNeal. Pauline's legacy continues through another generation with her great-great-nieces and nephews, Londyn Songui, Josiah Songui, Enaiya Louis, Logan Millington, Ashton Millington, Larissa Watson, and Antonio Diaz, along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, loved ones, and dear friends. For 97 years, Pauline blessed this world with her presence. She lived through generations, experienced life's joys and sorrows, loved her family, laughed, socialized, dressed beautifully, spoke her mind, and continued being unmistakably Pauline right until the end. While there will be sadness in saying goodbye, there will also be laughter when her family remembers the things she said, the stories she told, the outfits she wore, the parties she enjoyed, and those unforgettable moments when Pauline said exactly what everyone else was thinking - whether they were ready to hear it or not!
