Margaret Teresa Moxam was born December 23rd, 1968, the only daughter of Lucylee Hillary Savage Moxam and (the late) Gladry Emmanuel Moxam, in Kingston, Jamaica. Margaret received her early education in Jamaica, attending Vaz Prep and graduating from Merl Grove High School.
At the age of sixteen, she migrated to the United States where she joined her mother. After coming to New York City, she continued her formal education. She attended New York City Technical College and Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan. After graduation, Margaret began her career in retail. She was employed by Lane Bryant, Escada, and had currently been employed by Saks Fifth Avenue.
Margaret loved the sea, especially in Jamaica where she would swim often. She was an active runner, she would exercise often, and believed in staying fit and in shape. Anyone who knew Margaret would agree that she was a class act who loved to dress herself and her clients.
Margaret loved the Lord she attended the Beulah Church of God where she was baptized in Jesus’ name, and filled with the Holy Spirit. She was a prayer warrior, never giving up believing that God would heal her. She praised Him every time she had a chance. "Yes Margaret, you are healed, never to be sick ever again". Her brother Garth was blessed to visit her last November to spend some quality time with his sister. The family spent that Thanksgiving together.
On Tuesday, August 11, 2020, Margaret became absent from the body and present with the Lord. Though predeceased by her brother Gladry, Jr., she leaves to cherish her memory and live by her example of how to love and trust God, her mother Lucylee; her brother Garth (and his wife Clover); her uncle Ronald Ennover; two nieces: Brittane Ennover and Brittany Moxam; two nephews: Bradley Moxam and Austin Ennover; and a host of other relatives, friends, co-workers, and her church family who will miss her dearly.
