Lois Watson Green Obituary

Lois Watson Green was born on July 22, 1943 in Fairmont, North Carolina to (the late) Hattie Mae Inman and departed this life on Sunday January 3, 2021. She attended Rosen Ward High School in Fairmont, North Carolina. She relocated to Brooklyn, New York at an early age where she met and married Charles Green. They met in 1967 and were joined together in Holy Matrimony in 1977. They remained married for forty-four years. During this time they lovingly raised six children, grandchildren, and godchildren.

She was always eager to learn and was motivated to advance herself in life. She studied to become a nursing assistant, always having the mind set of

providing service and care to others. She was employed at Land Down

Manufacturing for many years until moving on to other endeavors.

Lois was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, confidant and friend. She loved life and loved having children around her. She loved to have fun with her family, motivating and inspiring us while being an avid prayer warrior.

Lois was a dedicated and faithful Christian. She was a member of New Testament Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Mother Hattie William. She was very active in the church. She served as an Usher for many years until later joining the Gospel Chorus. She was a devoted member, Deaconess, missionary, and served on many committees.

Although preceded in death by her daughter, Denise Watson, her sister Jessie Mae Green and her brother Rudolph Inman. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband: Charles Green of the home; two daughters: Angela Watson and Shana Ward; three sons: Reginald Watson, Tracey Watson, and Tyree Watson; two sisters: Carolyn Jennings (MA), and Jennie Mae Watson (NC); three brothers:  Ervin Inman (CT), Bobby Earl Inman (NC) and James Allen (NC); one son-in-law: George Ward; three daughters-in-law: Yolanda Watson, Bonita Watson, and Phyllis Watson; eight grandchildren: Cadette Anderson, Taheesha Anderson, Ryheen Anderson, Ashante Anderson, Destiny Watson, Tyree Watson, Jr., Precious Watson, and Myrakle Watson; three godchildren: Jamar Bethune, Jayden Bethune, and Messiah Bethune; Special friends Sis. Mary Bethea, Ms. Daniels, Debbie Faber, Diane Keitt, and Charlotte Person; beloved late aunts and uncles, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
