Lloyd M. Frink Obituary

It is with heavy hearts and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Lloyd M. Frink who left this world peacefully on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at the age of 81. Born in Statesboro, Georgia, on March 29, 1945, Lloyd was a beloved son of (the late) Hagin Frink and Lillie Mae Mincey Frink. He was a cherished brother, devoted husband, loving father, and a friend to many.

Lloyd's early years were spent in Statesboro where he attended William James High School. From a young age, he displayed a fascination with mechanics, a passion that would later blossom into a successful career.  After relocating to Brooklyn, New York, Lloyd's entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly as he opened his own auto mechanic business, earning a reputation as a skilled craftsman and trusted member of the community.

In Brooklyn, Lloyd met the love of his life, Delores Flowers. They were united in marriage, embarking on a journey filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams. Together, they forged a beautiful life until Delores was called home to be with the Lord.  Though their time together was cut short, the love they shared was timeless and unwavering.

Lloyd was a man of many stories -- a gift he generously shared with those around him.  His "gift of gab" was legendary, often weaving tales of his past that left listeners in stitches.  His laughter was infectious, and his presence brought warmth to any gathering. Whether he was reminiscing about his childhood or recounting his adventures with friends and family, Lloyd's stories were a testament to a life lived with joy and humor.

A man who cherished his roots, Lloyd often spent his leisure time fishing with his brothers. These moments, spent under the sun with lines cast into the water, were among his most treasured memories. They were more than just fishing trips; they were a celebration of brotherhood and the simple joys of life.

Lloyd was predeceased by his parents, Hagin and Lillie Mae Frink; his beloved wife, Delores Flowers Frink; his brothers: James Willie Frink, Dewitt Frink, Hagin Frink, Jr. and Curtis Frink; and his sisters: Ola Mae Menefield and Betty Ruth Fuce.  His legacy of love and laughter lives on through his surviving family: his son Ephraim Frink; his cherished sisters: Christine Frink of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Gracie L. West of Brooklyn, New York; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.

Lloyd Frink will be remembered for his generous spirit, his laughter, and his unwavering love for his family and friends.  His legacy lives on in the stories he told, the lives he touched, and the love he shared.   May his soul rest in eternal peace.
