Lenora Bernadette Wells, the second eldest child of Yvonne Wells and Paul Grant, was born on June 28, 1965 in Brooklyn, New York. She departed this life on Thursday, October 22, 2020 in her home.
Lenora received her education in the New York City public school system. After graduating from high school, she attended Medgar Evers College in 2014 for three years. She worked various jobs. Her main interest revolved around education and health which led her to acquire a career as a home health aide and a paraprofessional. Lenora also worked as a security professional in her spare time.
Lenora was a supportive and strong-willed woman who loved to help people. She was very creative. She loved crocheting sweaters, scarfs and blankets. Lenora also loved board games, and could beat you at cards any day. She loved music, dancing and was a huge fan of Stevie Wonder. She enjoyed writing stories and poetry. All in all, Lenora was a well-rounded, fun-loving mother, daughter, sister and friend.
Lenora leaves to cherish her memories, her grandmother Marjie; three children: Paul (“Paulie”), Lennox and Nyla; seven siblings: Yvette, Ronald, Arnold, Robert (“Junebug”), Paul, Dana and Rachel; one goddaughter Lenora (“Nori”); a dear father figure in her life, Robert; nineteen nieces and nephews, seventeen aunts and uncles, and a long list of family and friends who loved her dearly.
