Kevin Edward Hampton, son of Mildred Boyd Hampton and Eddie Hampton, Jr., was born on April 18, 1977 at Brooklyn Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. He transitioned from this life on Friday, April 28, 2023 at his home in Brooklyn.
Kevin received his education from Boys and Girls High School where he graduated with honors in 1995. He was employed by Verizon Communications for twenty years, and retired in 2017. Not content to stay at home and relax, he continued employment, this time at Allied Universal as a Security Official.
Kevin loved spending time with family, friends and his beloved cat, Harvest. He was loved by all who met him. He was a quiet person but had a lively spirit, never asked for anything, and loved WWE, movies, music, Kinder Bueno chocolate, Big League Chew gum, playing board games, and especially solving Rubik’s Cube multiple times.
Kevin was baptized at a young age and attended Bridge Street A.M.E. Church in Brooklyn under the leadership of Pastor Fred Lucas.
Kevin was preceded in death by his favorite Uncle Eli Hampton and Aunt Carolyn Hampton; his Uncle Stanley Hampton, Uncle Warren Jervis Hampton, Uncle Thomas Hampton, Aunt Vernetta Hampton, and his grandparents.
Kevin Edward Hampton leaves to cherish his memories, his beloved mother Mildred Hampton; his father Eddie Hampton, Jr.; sister Adrianne Hampton; his Uncle Toney Hampton and Uncle Chris Hampton; his Aunt Kathy Hampton, Aunt Shirley Kiett, Aunt Cynthia Hampton, Aunt Ida Doby, Aunt Willi Boles, Aunt Tressie Bernice Booker, and Aunt Dorothy Hampton; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
