Kenneth "Ken" Lamar White

Kenneth Lamar White, son of Myles Lamar White, Jr. and Thelma E. Taylor White, was born on June 20, 1962 in Brooklyn, New York.  He died on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Wyckoff Heights Hospital in Brooklyn.

Ken, as he was known to his family and friends, was a School Bus Driver in the New York City Department of Education.

He is survived by his wife Della; one son Dashawn McCall White (and his wife Azure); his parents: Myles Lamar White, Jr. and Thelma E. Taylor White; three grandsons: Nasir, Elijah and Dashawn Amari (whom he called “Mari”); one granddaughter Lelia (whom he called “his baby”); one aunt Virginia Moore (of Brooklyn, New York); two uncles: Ulysses Furr (of Brooklyn, New York) and Emmanuel Taylor (of Newark, New Jersey), and a host of cousins, other close relatives and friends.
