Choice Lee Campbell Obituary

Choice Lee Campbell was born to parents James Clennon Waller & Annie Neal Brown in Brooklyn, New York, on May 8, 1958.

She spent her childhood in Brooklyn with siblings Vanessa, Sharon, Annette, and Jamie, roller-skating and spending time with friends. In the neighborhood where she grew up, Choice came to be known affectionately as “Bee-Bee”.

One childhood friend she would notice from her window on his way to work at Zarro's, where he worked as a baker. She'd call out, “You going to work?” She would later marry that childhood friend, William Campbell, on February 18th,1990.

They built a happy life together, welcoming two sons, Kenneth Neal and Michael William. Shortly thereafter, they decided to expand their family by fostering children, which brought added joy, love, and prosperity to the household. The Campbells welcomed Nathalia and Jonathan with open arms. Later, Choice and William would adopt children as permanent members of the family. Choice was always welcoming to children. “You never deny children food,” she would say.

She worked nights at Brooklyn hospital, doing intake, and on days she spent venturing into Entrepreneurship as a Mary Kay representative to provide a stable household alongside her husband, William.

Her home life was spent beautifying the home that her, William and the children shared. Choice was known for her love of interior design, cooking, DIY, crafting, and sewing. It was a common occurrence to find her at home watching the Food Network or HGTV.

Balancing work life and family obligations was not easy, but Choice always managed to find time to welcome her children and extended family home for the holidays.

Choice built a life that reflects her tenacity, pride and dignity. She is a well

respected member of the community. Her absence will leave a lasting void.

She is survived by her husband William, Mother-in-law, Orinell Neil, Children: Tara, Tiffany, Jeneya, Miesha, Nivea, and Natila, Kenneth Neal, Tamara, Michael, Shania, Isaiah, Kenneth Adam & Crystal, and Yohei
