Charlotte Washington was born on May 20, 1958 to Emmett and Joan Washington. Charlotte grew up with three other siblings by which she was the eldest. She graduated from Bay Ridge High School and later joined the United States Marines.
Charlotte got married to Walter Fisher but then later separated.
Charlotte enjoyed reading John Grisham’s novels and had a huge collection of his books. She loved to draw, write poetry and watch cooking programs. Charlotte never feared modern technology but embraced it.
Charlotte remained self-reliant and never wanted to burden anyone with her problems. She remained optimistic and encouraged others to do better. Charlotte believed that when you don’t try, then you will never fly.
Charlotte loved her family and good friends. Charlotte often bought joy to whomever she met.
Charlotte worked at a group home with her belief in helping others first.
Charlotte leaves behind her father, Emmett Washington, her brother, David Washington, her sister, Maria Singh, Brother-in-law Dalip Singh, niece Jasveen Singh and her numerous cousins , Jerome Taylor, Sabrina Richardson, Brittany Richardson, Rickey Liloyd just to name a few.
