Beverly Smith

Beverly Smith was born on November 14th, 1967 in Brooklyn, New York to (the late) Thomas Smith and Ella Mae Hayes.  She attended P.S. 65 Elementary School, I.S. 171 Junior High and William H. Maxwell High School where she completed her formal education.

Beverly held many jobs, but the one that she was most passionate about was her job as a home attendant because she loved helping people in need.  She gave freely of herself, even to her own detriment sometimes, and that was truly a testament to her caring and giving nature.

Although she never had children of her own, Beverly lovingly adopted all her nieces and nephews, affectionately calling them "her children".

Beverly was a vibrant and fun-loving person who loved celebrating with family and friends.  In fact, she was often the talk of the party because she possessed such a dynamic personality.  She will be sorely missed.

Although we mourn Beverly's passing, we should be sure to celebrate the fact that later in her life, she established her relationship with Father God in the Name of Christ Jesus.

On Sunday, October 25, 2020, Beverly Smith became absent from the body and present with her Lord.  She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory, her sisters: Dolores Sinclair and Karen Smith (and her husband Eric Smith); her uncle John Junior (and his wife Paula); three aunts: Sarah Junior, Ruby Ginyard and Ralphenia Smith; her nieces: Crystal, Sandra, Yolanda, Sheila, Alex, Yvonne, Yvette, Chloe and Erica; her nephews: Curtis, Matthew, Luis, Gregory Wayne, Dwight, Arthel, Kenny, Anthony and Gregory Allen; along with a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Beverly is also survived by her longtime life partner Jason Stevens.
