Paul Dencle Neagle was born January 25, 1962 to Pearle Parker and Oscar Neagle in St. Mary, Jamaica. He was the fourth child for his mother and the fourth for his father, but the third son for his Dad. He is from a large family of seven brothers and five sisters.
Paul acquired his early education by attending Trinity Primary in Sandside where he completed his primary education. He then went to Secondary Port Maria Academic High School before deciding to learn the auto mechanics trade and attended Port Maria Training Center Trade School. In the early part of his life, he was known as “Saps” and “Sassa Frass” and yet others identified him as “Pablo”.
Paul was truly a mechanical genius who could fix the unfixable and repair the unrepairable. During his attempt to fix things, he encountered the one person that fixed him. On September 16, 1989, he ultimately married Yvonne Gray-Neagle, also known as Jennifer, and they enjoyed a successful marriage for more than forty years. Jennifer bore Paul four wonderful children: Marsden, Fabian, Paul, Jr. and, his pride and joy, Abigail.
In April 1986, Paul migrated from Jamaica, chasing after the love of his life, and hoping to enjoy The American Dream. He encountered a wide cross-section of friends. Relationships built were not limited to his profession, but spanned from social to anti-social. He was truly loved, and that love is reflected in the many tearful eyes sitting here today and standing on the outside.
Paul was charitable and prided himself in the way he fixed vehicles and making family, friends and customers happy. Paul, the mechanic, took calls even when calls should not have been taken. He was always ready and willing to give advice if required.
Paul passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 15, 2018. He leaves to mourn and cherish his memory, his loving wife Jennifer; his four children: Marsden, Fabian Paul, Jr. and Abigail; four brothers: Merrick, Caleb, Eddie and Kevin; five sisters: Lourette, Angie, Dawn, Lisa and Carlene; countless nieces and nephews including: Mark, Nadine, Kiesha, Nique and Paul; and a host of other relatives, customers and friends.
Paul is truly loved and will forever be missed!
