The Journey
Mosetta Morehead-Robinson was born on June 13, 1929 to (the late) Robert “Bob” and Laura Morehead in Cabarrus County, North Carolina. She was called home on Sunday, June 9, 2019 while residing at the CNR Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brooklyn, New York.
A Time To Grow
Mosetta attended public school in Kannapolis, North Carolina. She later graduated from Armstrong High School eager to begin her career in nursing. She lived in Baltimore for some years where she met and married the love of her life, Milton Robinson. They later relocated to Brooklyn, New York where she worked as a Nurse at Green Park Care Center until her retirement.
She resided on Montgomery Street where she was lovingly called, “Mo”. Neighbors could frequently find her on the stoop watching over the children, talking to her friends and making jokes. She was loved by all and brought joy to not only her household but to all who were blessed to know her.
A Time To Love
Mosetta was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Crown Heights where she also volunteered. She was a proud member of the North Carolina Club. She loved country music, car racing and baseball. She was known to hum and sing gospel music while doing her crossword puzzles. She was a loving, caring and nurturing mother to her three boys, and was blessed to be a loving grandmother to her grandchildren whom she loved to spoil rotten.
A Time To Mourn
Mosetta Morehead will join her husband Milton Robinson, and her first- born William Morehead in heaven. She leaves to cherish her memory, her two sons: Milton Robinson, Jr. and Peter Robinson; four grandchildren: Andrew Smith, Kaila Robinson-Smith, Malik Robinson and Leah Robinson-Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
