Hyacinth Jennetta Pearson-Forbes was born on September 8, 1925 to (the late) Edith Stewart and Alexander Pearson in the parish of Westmoreland in Jamaica, West Indies. She lived a life of loving, giving and caring for so many others until she forged ahead to prepare a way for us on Tuesday, June 18, 2019.
Mrs. Forbes attended Mount Peto All Age School in Westmoreland, and later attended Bethlehem Teachers College as well as Moneague Teachers College.
Mrs. Forbes then spent many years teaching at Irwin Hill All Age School before immigrating to the United States of America. She worked in the Health Care field while living in New York, and after relocating to Cleveland, Ohio, went back to teaching where she again won the hearts of the little ones. Mrs. Forbes returned to reside in New York, January 1994.
Mrs. Forbes leaves behind, three sons: Carl Williams, Clarence Forbes and Casimir Forbes; her daughter Claudette; grandchildren: Rana Lagaile Beswick, Lyndsay Joyner-Forbes, Casimir, Clarence and Christopher Forbes, Rahsaan, Ghadi, Yeseya and Khalemah Cole; Malcolm, Lozeni and Javon Williams; great-grandchildren: Bj, Taje and L’drae, Diamonique, Jasmine, KHai, Dylan, Asaya, Zoe, Alex, Ebony, Sienna, Diana, Charlotte and Angelese; and a host of other relatives and friends.
